Use case

Multi-site management

Each site has its own hardware, its own tariff and its own operator. DYDON Energy AI OS puts them on one platform without asking the sites to be the same.

The problem

One dashboard per site, per vendor
A charging depot on one platform, a factory battery on another, and a spreadsheet to compare them.
Nobody sees the outlier
A charger that stopped reporting or a battery that no longer follows its plan goes unnoticed when each site is checked by hand.
Strategy set site by site
Tariff changes, programme events and company policy have to be applied site by site, and drift over time.

Why current approaches fall short

Vendor portals stop at their own hardware
Charger and battery vendors provide portals for what they sell. A portfolio of mixed brands and mixed site types has no single home.
Integration by reporting
Exporting each portal into a reporting tool gives a picture of last month, not control of today.
Access is all or nothing
Site staff, head office and contractors need different views and permissions. Per-site tools rarely provide them.

How DYDON does it

DYDON Energy AI OS connects every site through the same edge agent and platform model, so EV depots under EVOS and commercial sites under AiEMS appear in one portfolio with shared roles, reports and strategy. Sites keep local control and their own safety limits.

  1. Connect

Connect every site the same way

Chargers over OCPP, batteries and meters over Modbus and SunSpec, vehicles through the fleet system. Mixed brands and site types join the same model.

  2. Monitor

Compare sites, assign roles, send reports

A portfolio view with per-site demand, charging sessions, storage state and alarms, ranked on the same measures. Roles decide who sees what, and scheduled reports go out per site and per portfolio.

  3. Predict

    Identify anomalies early

Forecasts per site set an expected band. Devices that stop reporting, sites that drift from plan or consumption outside the band are flagged for review.

  4. Optimise

Run one strategy across the portfolio

Tariff rules, charging priorities and storage policy are set once and applied to the sites they fit, with per-site limits kept in place.

  5. Control

    Local control, central override

Each site's edge agent executes locally within its safety envelope. Head office can pause a policy or take a site out of automation; site staff can override on the spot.

What you need

  • EV charging
  • Fleets & depots
  • Battery storage
  • Buildings & homes
  • Grid
  • A site list with tariff, connection limit and hardware per site
  • Charger access and, where present, fleet system access for depots
  • Interval meter data and battery specifications for commercial sites
  • The roles and reporting lines you want reflected in access

What you can track

The same measures are recorded for every site, so the portfolio can be compared and reviewed over time.

  • Peak demand and energy cost per site, on a common basis
  • Charger and device availability, and time to resolve outages
  • Sites and devices flagged as anomalies, and their outcome
  • Time from a strategy change to it taking effect on every site
  • Time from an anomaly being flagged in the portfolio view to it being handled
  • Operator overrides per site
